The braking fluid in the brake master must be replaced periodically for the following reasons:
- Moisture can accumulate in the fluid, reducing braking efficacy, increasing corrosion of brake system components, and potentially leading to total brake failure.
- Clean brake fluid not only ensures your safety, but also extends the life of your braking system components by preventing corrosion.
Brake fluid should be replenished every 40000 kilometers.
During a Brake Fluid Flushed, the existing brake fluid is removed from the brake master pump and replaced with new brake fluid. Following that, the brake system must be “bled” so that the fresh fluid rushes through the system, entirely replacing the old.
